Vehicle Detail

Dodge Diplomat Police Package (AHB/ELE): white exterior/blue interior; AHB (Factory Police Package) ELE (4bl Carb, 318 police power plant). Power windows, locks, sure grip rear, front and rear sway bars, certified speedo, interior dome ticket light, original (VA style small) spot light and is RUST FREE AND SOLID. Car has original Dodge fender tag listing the AHB/ELE code; so it is REAL, not a clone, HD vintage dodge police package car. I purchased the car this past November in Columbus OH. I drove it from OH to TX and noticed a small oil and exhaust leak. I was told it was a police chief's car in southern Virginia and it does have "804" stenciled in driver’s door jamb, a current VA inspection, and has interior police equipment holes. It doesn't appear to have been a marked unit, as it had no roof light bar holes. Dash is perfect, has blue tufted velour interior (must have been ordered with upgraded interior for the Chief) and has one plugged antenna hole on rear quarter. The wiper motor missing, AC is not working but all there, windshield has small crack, windows and locks work but need to be cleaned up. I was told when I bought it, that the heat worked; however, it was inoperable on the 1000 mile drive south. The blower motor works, blend doors work, as does ATC; a new radiator was installed prior to my purchase. I replaced the thermostat, belts, preformed G&O, rebuilt the carb, flushed the heater core, replaced the head gaskets, and PVC. I have the receipt for all recent work. Car starts right up, all bulbs work, shifts fine, and runs down road as expected. It has that cool 80's cop car throaty exhaust note coming out of the single factory oversized exhaust tip; the way it came from the factory...these did not have dual pipes from the factory. It has four (4) AHB cop rims (three black and one white) along with BRAND new Mickey Thompson Sportsmen's with the original cop poverty caps. Again, zero rust or rot. The carpet is complete and not bad, the headlines is not sagging...... A rare unmolested Dodge M Body squad car. Unexpected life changes and serious health issues force sale. Sad to see it go and hope it goes to someone with the same passion I had for it. As seen in Auto Check pages; at time of title in OH the correct mileage was not transferred by the OH DMV. Since the mileage exceeds the vehicle odometer’s mechanical limits it was titled with what was showing on the odometer, 48,007 miles. Records also show a corrected title was issued was then issued. Again, I hold a clean OH title for vehicle. As this is an old fleet vehicle I would assume miles are 200K plus at this point. NOTE.... If the buy it now or higher is met, the vintage and period correct Federal Signal Company AeroDynic light bar goes with it. If not, it is not included in the car. I just sat it on the top of the car in the pictures. As stated, there are no roof light bar holes. The reserve/BIN is much lower than what I have in the vehicle so good luck and thanks for looking. CAR SOLD AS IS. Transport is buyers’ responsibility from Dallas TX area where car is currently located. Did I drive it from OH to TX? Yes, but I had a chase car in case of issues. You will have to look up transport costs yourself if you’re interested; I can't help you with a quote, sorry. NOTE.... Buyer to pay a $500.00 deposit within the first 24 hours after auction ends. Payment is due in full, within seven days after auction ends.
