Up for sale is my 1979 GS 1000 S, all original. I am the 3rd owner. Bike has 62,246 original miles but you would not think so; runs like it only has 10k miles! Previous owner said the motor was rebuilt, but I have no documentation to support that. Does not leak or burn any oil. Just had the carbs cleaned, brakes serviced, oil change and new tires. Being it has 62K miles, it has some imperfections--1 ding on front fender, right exhaust has a scrape toward the end, faring has some paint chips missing and some light scratches, windshield has one crack. The gas tank is dent-free, like new inside, some paint chips here and there. Original seat is faded from the sun and has some cracking. Tail piece has some chips in the paint. All electrical system works fine. It starts right up and runs very strong. I am still riding it to work and back 2 days a week. Please look at all pictures and if you have any questions, let me know.
