Selling my 2012 Lava Red Stage 3 Roush. I ordered this car in early 2011 before the color was terminated early. This is the absolute hardest color to come by in this model, as I am told there are less than 10 in existence. Car has just over 4000 miles on it, has been garage stored it's entire life. Many of the 2011-2012 cars were plagued by the early production 5.0 motors having piston failure due to pore design of the piston cooling jets. Unfortunately for me, my number 8 piston cracked at 3500 miles while driving in town. To address this issue, I had the certified Roush dealer install a brand new Aluminator Ford Racing Long Block. This is currently a 10,000+ option on any new 5.0 mustang. The Aluminator Crate Motor is built to take any abuse you can throw at it, while still being as reliable as a factory option motor, or in this case, more reliable! This car has the Lower compression Aluminator made for boosted applications. When I ordered this car from Ford, I ordered it as a GT Premium with EVERY single option except glass roof, sunroof, convertible. The car had heated seats, but when you choose the suede roush option, that is removed from the vehicle for some reason. If you look up the Ford window sticker the GT Model was over 40,000 alone, and with the Roush options the car was over 60,000 new from my ford dealer! The car has a 72mm VMP Pulley on the Factory Roushcharger. I spoke directly with Justin @ VMP Tuning about every option when I was installing the new motor, and everything was spec'ed per his suggestions to make the car reliable and have great street manors. Justin also wrote the SCT Calibration on the vehicle. It does have larger injectors from VMP as well as Kooks Long Tubes, and a factory GT500 exhaust conifguration. I removed the factory Roush axle backs because they were too loud for my tastes. The car has a very aggressive exhaust note but is very exjoyable to drive. I still have the factory mustang and factory roush axle back exhausts that will go with the car at the time of sale. A JLT Color matched cold air intake was also installed, and allows the passenger/driver to enjoy the supercharger. This car has been driven very mildly its entire life, and treated as a collector item, rightfully so. Has factory wheels and tires, in great shape. Car has NEVER seen snow or salt, and is always prepped before winter and stored in my garage, under a cover. I am only selling this car because my house needs updating, and I cannot keep it and my GT500 both. I do NOT have to sell this car at this time, so please do not low ball me. To build a car like this one, you would have over 70,000 just on the purchase price alone, not including any of the upgrades, and you still would not have the extremely rare Lava Red Color. The color shows black in with a cloudy sky, deep red in low light, copper in off light, and deep purple in others. I can only really compare it to the Mystic color of the earlier mustangs, as I have NEVER seen another color with this much depth. This car has an unbelievable amount of power, estimated between 650-725 at the rear wheels. With only the intake, axle back exhaust, and a larger pulley this car dynoed 598 RWHP @ 6490 RPM with a 6500 RPM Fuel cut before the new motor and other upgrades. I also have a new supercharger mouthpiece, a VMP throttle body, and a VMP Fuel Pump Booster that can go with the car if buyer requests, pricing can be negotiated.
