1960 Ford Taunus de Luxe 17mI purchased this car locally * Was told this is a ONE OWNER * The story goes...the gentleman who had this car was in the military, this car was at one point in California - then moved to the Ft. Ritchie base. The car broke down in 1968 (needed a distributor). He parked it in his barn and never repaired. As you can see in pics everything was left in the car. The tag / inspection and Ft.Ritchie badges all date 1968, all paper work, maps, etc are all in that time frame. Have both English & German Manuals.This car was rescued a couple of months back from the gentleman I purchased it from. The car is in running condition; runs, shifts through gears with no grinding and does not overheat, no smoke, no noises, starts with the key, brakes do work. We did clean the fuel tank and lines and have driven this around our lot.This is a 4 cylinder * Standard 3 speed on the column * Clear PA title * Mileage is 79,726 but will be exempt due to age of vehicle and 5 digit odometer.I have tried researching this car as much as possible. From what I have found this is an extremely rare car. On the Taunus Registry located in Washington it states there are only 13 of these cars known of in North American.
