1969 CHEVROLET CAMARO This is an excellent example of a Cortez Silver Camaro that has been recently & tastefully restored as a Z28 tribute. The interior & exterior finish is all Z28 correct. The 350ci small block runs solid and strong with a 4bbl Edelbrock carb & polished intake. The headers and dual exhaust have a mean muscle car tone. The transmission has been upgraded to a Borg & Warner T -10 4 Speed with a new Hurst Competition Plus shifter. It shifts perfectly & smooth like a new car. The original 3:73 12 Bolt rear end has been completely rebuilt with a new Posi unit, gear set and bearings. This desirable classic has been completely redone top to bottom - way too much to list. It has a current safety certificate & can be reliably driven anywhere. It has been given a 10 out of 10 by the local muscle car shop. This Camaro has been recently painted in the original Cortez Silver (69 paint code) with correct Black Z28 stripes. The paint is deep and glossy. The body is solid with good sheet metal. The body is perfectly straight & gaps are even. The rare blue interior is in mint condition. New carpet. Dash is perfect. Seats have no wear. Proper Z28 rear bumper with large guards. All chrome and weatherstripping are in excellent condition. This car really looks as clean & correct up close as it does driving down the street. No expense has been spared to maintain this car in perfect condition. The undercarriage is as detailed and clean as the rest of the car. The floors and rockers are solid with no rust or patches. Frame rails are rust free. The car is equipped with factory power steering, power brakes (front discs), and a/c. An upgraded Pioneer deck equipped with MP3 has been installed but it's more fun to just listen to the motor rumble. This is a high value Camaro that turns heads. It takes me forever to get anywhere because people constantly stop me to look at it - this is the car that everyone wishes they had! I've been proud to own this car.
