2001 Mazda Miata Convertible Price dropped to $3000.00 Read update below: Car just stopped running 7-11-14, AFTER I installed the new Battery, Coil Packs, and Camshaft sensor. Check engine code says the Camshaft Position Sensor has failed again. Car does crank and run fine, but when the engine heats up, it will stall out and throw the Check Engine Code for the Camshaft Position Sensor. I just ordered a New Camshaft Sensor and a New wiring harness for it. They should be to me Monday or Tuesday, and I will install them then. When these are installed, the car should be good to go. $3000 cash, come and get it. Details: 4 cyl - 5-speed 100,200 miles - lots of Highway Drove the car non-stop from Bham to Ft. Leavenworth Kansas and back - 1600 miles NON-STOP - 34 hours, with no problems at all. Car is Black with Tan Leather Interior and Tan Vinyl top (LS Package) Leather does show shows some wear, but no holes. Engine runs strong AC recently reworked with new compressor and new condenser - works great Drift Dynamic wheels Decent rubber on tires NEW: In addition to the AC, Drift Dynamic wheels in Black / red Rear wheel hubs, Clutch Master and Slave cylinders Both O2 Sensors CAM shaft sensor Crank Shaft Sensor EGI Main Relay Fuel Injection relay All four shocks/struts 4-wheel alignment on 6-14-14 New coil packs on 7-11-14 New Battery on 7-11-14 (Spent about $2,500.00 total) Also has: AM/FM/CD with BOSE Speakers Remote lock Power windows Power Locks Deluxe Chrome Roll Bar (double bump) Brushed Aluminum Grill insert in front bumper to protect condenser and radiator. Has Black / Red seatcovers (cheap ones) to protect the leather seats. Black / Red LeBra on front Ed Hardy floor mats and Steering wheel cover, with dragon graphics Red Dragon Graphics on front Fenders Mazda SPEED black / red door panels. (I have the original Tan door panels if you want them) NOTICE: Car does have a "re-built" title. Previous owner was hit on drivers side, damaged door and fender, and Air Bags deployed. Insurance totalled car. Fender and door replaced, Air Bags and dash replaced. Alabama Inspected and issued a new title. When the driver's door was replaced, they used a door from a '98 model. Looks right, fits right, operates right. BUT, the Mazda Speed door panel does not fit correctly - see the last photo I added. The door interior door handle is in a slightly different place, and does not fit in the panel correctly. Handle could probably be shifted, but I didnt have time to try. Also, Anti-lock brake Light in dash is on. Brakes work fine so I haven't worried about having it serviced. NOTE: Also, I have a deluxe hard top for the car, being sold in a separate auction. It is navy blue, not black, but can be painted to match It has the padded headliner and rear window defrost. Car already has the frankenstein bolts and side body clamps for the top. I am asking additional $1,100.00 or best offer for the hard top. If you want the car, and hardtop both, make an offer. See my auction for a brand new set of rocker panel skirts.
