Vehicle Detail
This listing is for a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Sport Coupe. This is a rust free California car that was manufactured in Van Nuys California. I have owned this car since 2002 and was very slowly restoring it. However, I am no longer in a position to complete the restoration so I am forced to sell the car. The things that have been replaced on the car are; Coil Springs-big block springs Leaf Springs-multi leaf Rear Brakes Front Brakes-Disc conversion Front fenders, hood, valance, fender extensions, and front spoiler-All New Trunk Lid-New Headliner-installed Hood hinges and latch Wiper Motor-New Front Suspension A-frames, ball joints, and Bushings-New Shocks-New the rubber stops/bumpers underneath-New Door Hinges and Hardware-New This listing is for the car itself and all of the parts I have for it. Most of the parts are new, but I also have some of the original parts too. The parts included are; Headlights Tail Lights with new bezels and the original housings running lights all around-newParking light assemblies-New original seats-all reupholstered with gray cloth and black stripes carpet kit-New Molded Trunk Mat-New Door Handles Cranks/hardware for both doors-New Outer Door Handles-New Door Hinges-New-Installed dash pad-New instruments-New center console-New Center Console Shifter and Cable-New Chrome Hood Latch-New Door Panels and rear Panels-Deluxe-New Courtesy lights-New Everything for the dash-New American Wheels-Polished Aluminum BF Goodrich TA's-slightly used Billet Steering Column with Tilt-New Wood grain Steering Wheel-New Heater Box assembly and heater control-New Heater Blower Motor-New front and Rear Bumpers, Bumper Guards, and brackets-All New Fuel Tank-Original-Boiled out Fuel Filler Neck, seals and hardware-New Emblems all the way around-New Window Regulators for front and rear-New Complete Wiring Kit front to back-New by American Autowire. As you will see in the pictures, over 90% of the stuff included is new parts. The engine compartment Has been completely sanded down and I applied 10 coats of Gloss Black Paint and 3 coats of clear finish. The pictures really don't do it justice because it has been kept in a body shop for the last 4 years and all I could do was dust it off. The inside of the car was also sanded down and has about 6 coats of rubber undercoating. The under carriage was scraped and sanded by hand. The frame was sprayed with High Gloss Black and 2 coats of clear. The rest of the underside is generously covered with rubber undercoating. The original Turbo 350 has been completely rebuilt to stock specs with the exception of a shift kit. It comes with a completely rebuilt 350 engine that has roller rockers and a real nice high lift cam. The engine has approximately 800 miles on it since the rebuild and runs very strong and sound great. The original seats have been re-upholstered with gray cloth and black stripes (was to match the exterior color scheme of gun metal gray with black ghost stripes front to rear). The buyer will need to purchase the glass for the car, a Carburetor, Starter, Alternator, and a maybe a couple of other things. SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY!!!!!! Thanks for looking!
