I'm helping a friend sell this 1978 Lincoln Town Coupe. This is a true survivor. It belonged to her husband who passed away. He was the original owner, the original bill of sale is included. This car has just under 13,725 original miles. It has always been garage kept and is completely RUST FREE. Never any collision damage. Beautiful Tan paint/vinyl top on Tan leather interior (The actual color is called Light Champagne). The Interior is in perfect condition. The rear seat belts still have the factory plastic wrappers on them. It is equipped with the factory AM-FM-8 Track player and a few 8 track tapes are included. The trunk is spotless. The exterior is excellent, way above average, but not perfect.There are a couple of waves in the hood, as if someone had laid something on it, but I just couldn't seem to be able to get them to show in the photos. There is a shallow ding in the drivers door.(see picture) I would say that both of these issues could be easily remedied with the "paintless dent removal" techniques that are commonly used or left as is. I found a touch up mark that was made with a brush on the passenger quarter panel above the wheel opening.(you can just make it out in the picture.) Other than that the original paint is in excellent condition. We gave it a quick cleaning but a good detailing would make this a fantastic car. The front bumper has a few blemishes and there would likely be some very light pitting in the front and rear bumpers after they are polished but I don't feel they warrant rechroming. This car was well cared for until the owner's husband passed away about a year ago. We just added fresh gas and a new battery and it runs as good as ever. No mechanical issues, no leaks. You can drive is anywhere without a worry. The last Lincoln that was in this condition range sold for over $20,000 on Ebay. This one is starting at a very reasonable $7500 with NO RESERVE.
