Located in Mesa, AZThis is an original factory built complete car. Built using 1879 Ford 4 cylinder 2.3 motor, C4 transmission, axles and tank. Frame is new production square tube steel from Classic Motor Carriages with a fiber glass body so it has a California issued Vin for a "1929 Gazelle" Cheap insurance and no emissions. It has a new tan coup top and side curtains. Bows and snap kits to be trimmed and installed. Brand new white interior front and back seats as well as wrap-around. Old interior was dry rotted and has been pulled out so the inside is just a fiberglass bath-tub. Also have a nice chrome shifter out of a Mustang II ready for install to replace the broken handled plastic one., old interior pulled. Please see pictures and ask questions. Runs but needs work. Has New brake master cylinder, new super coil, new radiator, new battery. Re-built cooling system (Spare electric fan if interested) re-built fuel system and rebuilt carburetor.Some rotten little kids with a BB gun cracked the windshield windshield and a really nice guy hit and ran on the back left fender, It's cracked but is still one piece and holding and can just be repaired with resin. New light and parts are available from California. Bumper-ette on that side is a little bent but in tact. Other bumper-ette was removed previously when I was working on the car. Has bolts and washers. Straight pipe and open muffler as there are no emissions on this vehicle. Put on a glass pack if you like.Needs new rubber trumpet mounts and new horn button on steering column, steering wheel and dash are worn. Once again new ones are available from MG Classic motors in San Diego. New front and rear helper springs but old pump-up air shocks need to be replaced. Old tires and Wheels have peeling chrome. The suggestion was to just buff them down to polished steel as the chrome was renown to not be that great on the kit parts, not worth replacing. Perhaps re-chroming with a better coat might work. .There are some dot spot stains on the hood a genius mechanic left. Also previous owner tried to clear-coat without prep and there's a little left here and there that flakes off. But the colors are actually in the gell-coat for the fiberglass. Given the interior color I was going to prep it properly and re-paint.As I said it has a CA issued VIN for 1929 Gazelle. no emissions required. Have a bunch of paperwork and some original document copies for it. I love this thing to death and even used it as a daily driver for years, But when the interior went completely I started buying parts to re-build. In my current living situation without a lot of tools and a dedicated area or garage it proves difficult. I keep it covered and drive it occasionally but the only place left to park it is the street.. So, here it is.Perhaps someone with better facility can re-build it as a summer project car and love it as much as I do. Put a chunk of change into the replacement parts and it would be nice if I at least got my money back out of that. So please feel free to contact me with any question or clarifications. Buyer is responsible for pickup, tow and transport. As I said the car does run but for insurance liability I would prefer it be towed to new owner.- Along with all the parts. I had to put down 72 hrs max for down payment through Paypal. I'm willing to work with someone as far as the rest of the payment, but I will have to say within two weeks, otherwise I would have to re-list. Down payment reserves the car, but no possession or title until I receive full payment.
