This is an awesome 1988 Monte Carlo SS. My wife bought this as a college graduation gift for herself in 2006. She is now looking for a pick-up truck. Go figure. Anyhow, this is a well-cared for (and loved) car. She is affectionately called The "Queen" (my wife's idea, not mine). This car is RUST FREE. She has been continuously garaged since she was repainted in 2006 and a small amount of rust at the bottom of the doors was repaired at that time. The paint still looks great. Improvements include: 383 crate motor/405hp200/4r with shift kitB&M 2500 stall converter Hooker headerscustom 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust with high flow catslowered 2 inches all aroundnew refurbished stock wheels 4 new tires The only real problem with this car is a sagging headliner. It's not terribly bad, but will need replacement at some point. There are a couple of small burn marks in the passenger seat, compliments of the previous owner, otherwise the interior is very good. This car needs absolutely nothing! Just get in and drive. This car has gone on road trips from RI to PA and NH without a glitch. She also took 2nd place in the RI Chevy Owners Association annual All Chevy Show in 2011.
