Vehicle Detail

A very rare or maybe a better choice is hard to find in this condition and black paint. What we have here is a low mile, (45,850) original paint, triple black, Grandma Car. This car came with very few options. A vinyl top, tinted glass, automatic, power steering, disc brake, power brakes, and full wheel covers are about the only options on this neat car. Factory radio delete option! I bought this car about 3 years ago and it was completly original. It came with a six cylinder and a turbo 350 tranny. I removed the six and replaced it with a V8 350 Crate motor. The car is clean, tight and rust free. I wiil try to describe the condition and things that were done to this car below. INTERIOR; Almost nothing was done to interior except adding a tach and a little cleaning. The seats, door panels, headliner, and dash are very nice, near mint. No fading, cracks, rips, or wear on seats. The only thing the interior needs to be perfect is carpet. The original carpet does show some wear, but nothing else inside shows any wear. I did add the tach and gauges under dash. PLEASE NOTE, the Don Garlits Tach does NOT come with the car (NOT INCLUDED). Sorry forgot to remove it. BODY; The body and paint are very nice for being 40 years old. The paint looks to be almost all original with a few touch ups. I get a lot of compliments on the paint. People often ask me who painted the car and I tell them General Motors. The paint has a very nice gloss and the body is very straight. Up close there are of course some minor imperfections, a few chips, dings, scratches, but no rust. This is not a Barret Jackson show car, but is a very nice driver quality paint that shows very well. The floor pans are very very nice with no rust or repairs. The trims and bumper are also very nice. The rocker mouldings and wheel well mouldings look new. Even the vinyl top looks new and shows no rust bubbles around the edges. There are a couple of rubs down low on the bumpers, but not noticable in casual observation. Over all very nice body, trim, mouldings and paint, better than driver quality but not show car paint. DRIVETRAIN; I basically jacked this car up, put it on jack stands and then removed the engine, transmission, rear end and gas tank. Installed a new gas tank with proper sending unit and the new 3/8 inch fuel line. Had the tranny completly rebuilt by Ryan Bevans, added a cast aluminum pan and also added a new 2800 Stall Converter.I ordered a new 350/290 engine from JEGGS. I removed the heads and added new Chevy Vortec 64 c.c. heads and roller rockers. Also added a new Edelbrock intake and new Holley 750 Carb. New fuel pump, distributor, Edelbrock Water pump, Optima Battery, Aluminum radiator, Chevy script Valve covers and matching air cleaner, New plug wires, Ceramic coated headers, Full 2-1/2" exhaust system, and more. The rear end was also overhauled with a new posi unit, aluminum cover, bearings and new 3.73 gears. I Also added the springs and front and rear sway bars from a 73 Chevelle SS. The ralley wheels were powder coated and the tires are new. The rear tires are Nitto drag radials for traction. Less than 500 miles on this new drivetrain. The car looks, runs, stops, and sounds like a very nice car, which it is. I have spent a lot of money and time building this car and have tried to described it honestly. The car is avialible for inspection by appointment. I have way to many cars, or so my wife thinks. I have agreed to sell a couple and this is the first to go. Please email any questions. I have taken a lot of pictures to show the condition of the car and I am not hiding anything. The car is pictured with two sets of wheels, ONLY the ralleys are included with the car. FINE PRINT; Expect a $250.00 down payment (Non refundable) within 48 hours of end of auction. Full payment due in 7 days. Only the down payment can be made with Pay Pal, the remainder will be either bank transfer, check and of course Cash is King. Car will not leave my property until funds are cleared by my bank. Scammers need not apply. Car can be stored at my place after payment in full only, for up to 30 days. Delivery within 200 miles is a possible for a fee. This auction may be cancled at any time for any reason. Please bid only if you are aproved to buy this car. I am located in Indiana about 85 miles North of Indy. Selling as is with no warranty. I am not a dealer and was not expecting to sell this car, but another car has caught my attention. (please don't tell my wife!) Thanks for looking.
