This auction is for a 1973 VW Kombi Bus Wesfalia edition. This van ran perfectly until my last camping trip. On the highway the shift linkage rod broke and it was stuck in 3rd gear. I tried to complete the trip but the engine gave out before I could make it home. It still turns over but when it tries to start, it sounds like a bag of hammers. The motor presently in it, is a Porsche long block 1600 that a shop installed. Other than the engine and linkage, everything else works! Lights, turn signals, CD Player, door, windows, bed, and Westfalia top. It could use new material for the camper top but it is functional. There is surface rust on the body but the frame and floor are solid. There is Qty.(1) rusted hole seen in the photos below the door on the drivers side. The tires are new with about 1000 miles on them, and the suspension is perfect. It drove like it was new. Included but not pictured is the Westfalia sink and ice box, and the kitchen table. I have too many projects to get this fixed and it created a huge argument between me and my wife, so its got to go! If you have any questions feel free to ask. Happy Bidding!!!
