1984 Toyota BJ40 Land Cruiser (I believe it is the last year they made the BJ40). I purchased this car in Central America and used it as my personal vehicle while I was staying down there. The motor was rebuilt just prior to my purchasing it. I have put approximately 5000 miles on the engine since it was rebuilt (including the drive home) and everything is working great. It has 40 PSI of oil pressure when warm and the coolant temperature usually ranges from 180-190 degrees. This car is in amazing condition for its age. It is however a 1984 and does have some minor scratches and dings. There is absolutely zero rust. On the drive home I averaged 23 MPG and got as high as 25 MPG. It has a 4 speed manual transmission and is geared a little low for freeway driving. Trust me it seemed to take an eternity on the journey home. It is an absolute pleasure to drive around town though. The 4wd functions flawlessly and has been a blast to explore the desert of southern Utah with it. I get plenty of looks and questions about it, especially when people hear the diesel engine. It is a real head turner. T hese are very rare vehicles here in the United States, especially when equipped with the ever so reliable and reputable Toyota 3B diesel engine. The top is removable and it also has some vinyl/fabric windows for those days when you get caught out in the rain. They came in handy a few times on the drive home. I would recommend shipping this car, unless you enjoy driving at 55 MPH for an extended period of time. I have a friend that owns a vehicle transportation company and can assist with transportation to your destination. Ebay does not recognize the VIN because this is an imported car.
