2001 Toyota Echo 2 Door Stick Shift, New paint, clutch and one front axle about 10 months ago. I walk to work so since I've had it it really only gets used of any distance on weekends. I have owned it for about 10 months. According to the girl I bought it from who owned it for 7 years, she side swiped a wall a few times that she had to park very close to daily. When I got it it needed paint on both sides so I had the whole car painted. The body is not perfect but pretty darned close. If you scrutinize it looking for imperfection you'll find some, as it's used with wear and tear, but overall if you are not too picky it is a reasonably good looking car. I have not had it looked at by a mechanic but it seems to be mechanically sound, passed the smog easily and gets seriously fantastic mileage. It is very peppy and can haul butt and take most of what it wants swiftly on the road. There is a small cigarette hole on the seat, however, classify this as a non smoking car as I had it thoroughly detailed including shampooing the interior when I got it last year and there is no trace of cigarette smell in the vehicle. It has an aftermarket Sony radio/cd player. The radio display says failure when you first start the car, then goes away after you touch the knob. I have never tried the cd so I don't know if it is functioning. About 10% of the time the am gets weird and I shut it off. 100% of the time that I use fm it works excellently. The passenger side window only rolls halfway down, but goes up and down fine to that point. The air conditioning works great. This car is sold as-is with no refunds. I require a $500 NON REFUNDABLE deposit within 24 hours of the auctions end via paypal or cash in person, and the car must be paid off and picked up within 3 days. You must make your own shipping arrangements. I am listing it in more than one place so I reserve the right to end the auction early. I am not a dealer and have a clean non salvage title with my name on it so easy transfer and no $300 dealer fees on top of the auction bid like the dealers do to you. This is a nice car that has served me well. I expect it will serve you well too.
