I don't want to sell her, but forced to sell my beloved project due to the fact of loosing my garage space. I picked up my Skylark about a year ago. The previous owner said it had been sitting for about 7 years. I towed it home and have been working on it for the past year. When I bought the car it didn't run, and had no brakes, now the car runs and stops :) I recently rebuilt the carburetor, and put in a brand new power brake booster, master cylinder, and new battery. This car has original California black plates with current registration and clean title. As you can see in the pictures the Skylark has blue bucket seats. The carpet is not bad, the headliner is there, but needs to be replaced. The door panels are in nice shape, it has tilt steering column, power steering, power brakes, power seats. Now the bad, it has rust, the worst of it is on the bottom of back window panel, and there is some in the trunk, but the trunk pan is not to bad. There was a lot of surface rust but I have sanded some of it off, and started priming some of the car with white auto primer paint. I put a good start on the project. The car is running, but is not a daily driver. I have only driven it around my neighborhood. It starts up great, shifts into gear nice, and stops excellent. It seems great, but i am no expert mechanic so selling AS IS a running project. Also unfortunately the SS wheels in the pictures are not mine and do not come with the car, it will be on the mesh wheels in the pictures(tires hold air).
