Vehicle Detail

This is a fantastic car British car with a lot of personality and style. Here's a rare opportunity to own a wonderful rust free Michelotti designed British car for not a lot of money. This TR4 was parked in a warehouse for at least 11 years when I found it with an excellent preserved body and frame. We brought it back to life and changed the clutch and brake master cylinders, slave cylinder and hose, rear brake wheel cylinders, front brake calipers, rotors, pads, and brake hoses, changed the motor and transmission mounts and put in a new brake light switch. We drained the fuel, changed the filters, rebuilt the Stromberg carbs, and she fired right up. She drives great (see video below)! The engine is very strong with no smoke and great oil pressure. The four-speed transmission is the original all synchro/ non-overdrive gearbox and it works great! This car has a solid rear axle (which I much prefer to later IRS cars) and drives great. The car appears to have under 70k original miles. Odometer stopped working for last owner at 57k and he says he put less than 10k on it while he had it. Actual mileage is unknown, but the car certainly looks to be a 70k mile car.It was resprayed once and is solid with zero rust. There was one minor area of rust on the passenger inner sill but we cut that out and welded in new sheet metal. So the floors and sills are excellent. The trunk floor is solid. The paint is very nice! This was a southern car that had lived in Georgia and then South Carolina and finally Ohio. It was not driven in inclement weather. The car has an older top that is useable but new white ones are available and we can fit one for the buyer for an additional fee if so desired. New white tonneaus are also available. All glass is good. Interior is very good. Everything is just right. The car feels great, clean and shiny, a great driver that will be fun to share anywhere you go. I believe these cars are quite special because of their unique design. This is a rare car because there is no rust underneath, no silly modifications, excellent dashboard (you often see them cracked on other cars) low mileage and just plain fun! All gauges work. This is a wonderful and inexpensive way to get into classic car collecting with a timeless design that is sure to appreciate! Email any questions! You can see a slideshow with more pictures by clicking hereShipping available anywhere in the world in an enclosed trailer. We can load and deliver this car to your door ( we ship cars weekly from our shop, Bugeyeguydotcom in Branford, CT). As with any classic car, this car is sold as is with no guarantee or warranties. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding! These are rare and unique cars for not a lot of money. Have fun, make a big impression and enjoy the use of your investment. The classic car market continues to move upward! A good TR4 is becoming more and more rare and harder to find!
