From the outset please note that we did not do this update, this is how she came to us. This 1984 Porsche911 Carrera drives and runs excellent, with excellent engine, clutch, transmission, steering, suspension and brakes. The under carriage of this car is unrestored and truly exceptional for a sports car of this vintage. Clearly respected throughout is life and lovingly maintained. The factory color of this car is the wonderful Zinn Metallic, Porsche paint code 956. She Starts, idles, runs, and stops beautifully, hot or cold, with absolutely zero smoke, and substantial power. Tires and brakes are new, the top works and fits well with a nice rear window, and 2 minor blemishes. The A/C blows but not cold, clearly this car needs a better radio than the one in it. The exhaust sounds very nice and it has no leaks. Both power windows work well as do the power mirrors. She comes with a remote control alarm that also operates the power door locks She also comes with some service records for recent maintenance totaling several thousand dollars, factory owners manual, spare and jack. This is a turnkey, serviced Porsche and requires no work to drive and enjoy. Drives true straight, smooth with no vibrations or pulling at freeway speeds. We have access to ALL the parts required to back date this car and they can be purchased separately at additional cost. If that is something that interests you feel free to contact us for a price. This beautiful 1984 Porsche Carrera is available for any inspection at our showroom in Beautiful Sunny Cost Mesa California or at ANY REPUTABLE service garage of your choice within a reasonable radius of our showroom. We at Performance Vintage International are licensed California Classic and exotic car dealers, and only for California buyers will charge sales tax and state mandated transfer and documentation fees (registration fees are paid to the state, plus a $65 documentation fee with sales tax based new owner’s county rate). We do not charge out of state buyers for these fees and they will be responsible for their own fees and need to pay their own state fees and taxes themselves as appropriate and we will only charge a $75 documentation fee. Any shipping fees will buyers responsibility and you can select your own carrier and pay them directly. In line with normal ebay practices please note that all inspections are to be made prior to auction close, winning the car does not entitle you to come and inspect her to see she is really what you want , That should be done before you bid ! Prior to auction close multiple inspections by the same person are no problem, you can come back as many times as you like, bring friends, cousins, mechanics, brothers, sisters, neighbor or spouses all welcome ! Please note that due to her age there is no warranty offered, available, stated or implied. The Mileage stated is as displayed and due to the her age and the hand me down nature of history cannot be warranted. As a realistic note, do realize that although in excellent shape, this Porsche has numerous imperfections when compared to a new car, though still exceptional for a 30 year old sports car.
