VERY NICE 1956 CHEVROLET FOR SALE I am offering my 1956 two door post for sale. Due to other commitments, I am thinning down my car collection. This car is ready to show and go. It has consistently done well in local car shows, and is very dependable for cruising.The paint is in excellent condition, there are no known mechanical issues, and as you can see from these pictures, the custom interior is in excellent condition. This car is extremely quick. The engine is a 383 Stroker, with a 700R transmission. It still has manual steering and drum brakes, however it drives and stops very well. The chrome is in good shape, and there are no major rust issues.If you are looking for a really nice "old school" hot rod, this might be the car for you. I have set the reserve at a reasonable price for this car. Please feel free to call me with any questions you might have. This car use to have a 4 speed transmission. It now has a new 700R, also it has a new steering wheel with a lokar shifter. I do have the older steering available if you would like it instead.
