Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE 1986 ½ Jeep CJ7 went through complete teardown 3-4 years ago, replaced all lines, suspension, bushings, dash, custom wiring, full fiberglass body with custom paint. Jeep has been built to wheel not a trailer queen. Has been wheeled in the sand dunes and a few offroad parks with technical trails and mud. Powerwashed every time, stored in a heated garage yearround. This has been my baby for over 15 years and been built to it's current specs over those years. Starts everytime after sitting over the winter and usually only taken on 3-4 wheeling trips a year. Jeep has typical trail scuffs, no real damage. Hate to sell but son is starting drivers training and need to make room for his car. This is a great, reliable fun toy for the dunes, trails or scooting around town and I've had it on the highway at 75mph with no issues. Drivetrain: AMC 304, bored .030 over, mild RV cam, approx. 3000 miles on complete rebuild. Stock manifolds with dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. Holley Pro-jection fuel injection on Edelbrock intake, Accel ignition coil, complete spare HEI distributor not installed, M.O.R.E. bulletproof motor mounts, full 2 speed fan from Dodge Viper (wire with high amperage remote relays with cut-off & Lo-Hi switch on dash), Optima Red Top battery (not sure condition, had to jump start this year) 727 TorqueFlight trans from Jasper, approx. 1500 miles since complete rebuild, mild shift kit, B&M Megashifter, Lokar kick down, external cooler. Dana 300 Transfer case with stainless Twin-stick shifter. Rear Dana 44 with Detroit Locker, disc brakes with stainless pre-bent brake lines, RPM diff. cover, 4.10 gear. Front Dana 30 with Power Locker, disc brakes with stainless pre-bent brake lines, 4.10 gear, dual steering stabilizer. 35x14.50x15” Boggers, 15”x8” Ultra wheels, Superwinch lock-outs, New 4” spring lift, extended shackles, new Bilstein 5150 reservoir shocks, steering box brace, complete stainless pre-bent brake lines and fuel lines, 22 gallon fuel tank (aftermarket), high pressure frame mounted fuel pump with stainless fuel lines to EFI (during frame off restoration). Frame & Body: Frame off restoration 3 years ago, complete fiberglass body (body, fenders, hood, core support, windshield frame) mounted on 1” lift urethane body mounts, spray-in bedliner throughout (new), all new seals, Wrangler roll bar with sport bars and windshield hoop (tied to frame at 4 points), complete stainless dash, full Autometer gauges, tilt steering column with GT steering wheel, Tuffy locking stereo security console, Smittybilt Sport seats, RJS 4-point seatbelts, Centra-pod (not installed) and wedge speakers, chrome mirrors, chrome hinges, chrome hood latches, LED Blackout taillights, LED license plate lights, Tomken front bumper with Tomken winch mount with brush guard, XRC-8 8000lb winch, Tomken rear bumper with hitch. Bestop denim Supertop with full doors and bestop bikini top.What I know would need attention to make absolutely perfect: drivers seat has small tear (see pics), the heater controls are hard to operate (new cables this year didn't do the trick), Supertop needs re-sewing at windshield channel on pass. side, front and rear mains seep a little from sitting (common problem with 304), amp gauge reads max (needs re-wired).
