Up for bid is a beautiful BMW K1200RS in the very desirable Alpine White and Orient Blue Metallic paint combination The bike currently has 36,200 adult ridden miles on it. Beautiful condition with only a few minor scratches and show no evidence of ever being layed down. Very well maintained with all fluids and filters recently changed (under 500 miles) Tires have under 1200 miles on them and front and rear brake pads were just replaced with full fluid change as well. Factory equipped with heated hand grips, Power assisted Anti-lock brakes, electronic cruise-control as well as matching key locking BMW hard side cases with removable liners. The bike is extremely fast and handles just as well as you would expect. With the addition of the below listed equipment it is now an excellent long distance tourer as well. Additional Equipment: Aeroflow Tall adjustable clear windscreen ( hands down, the best I have ever ridden behind) Russell DayLong custom leather touring saddle (10 hours on this and no soreness, was well worth the 600 dollars) Givi keyed locking and lighted top case (great capacity with security as well as good looks) Remus Genesis full carbon fiber and stainless exhaust system (pricey at 1200 dollars but nice power increase and weight reduction and sounds deep and rich) The foot controls have been moved to the bottom location provided for a more relaxed riding position and a set of bar-backs are included for those wishing an even more upright feel. The bike starts, runs, handles and performs flawlessly without the mechanical gremlins that have surfaced with the newer versions. I don't think you can find a better one out there in this condition for this price. The new owner will not be disappointed. I'm 20 miles from major international airport.
