Up for sale is my 1970 Honda Mini Trail Z50 A Code. This is a 99% complete unmolested and unrestored original classic. It is the iconic hard tail version with lights, the most collectible and desirable of all the Mini Trails. Back in the day some states even considered these street legal. This little bike starts right up, accelerates, shifts and stops as it should. It has no leaks and no smoke. The lights work and the tires are fresh without dry rot. It has a few dings and scrapes and a dent in the tank which I never got around to pulling out. There is one tear in the original seat. The engine cases are bright with minimal wear. The shift, brake and kick start levers are straight and shiny as is all of the chrome on this cute little sucker. The original rubber boots and pieces are in good shape. There is something about the Honda Mini Trail that makes grown men ooh and ahh. The feeling of riding one brings a smile to your face and a chuckle to anyone who sees you. It is the quintessential pit bike to take to the races or car shows. If you are looking at this listing you know that these Honda Mini Trails are skyrocketing in value. I've seen fully restored ones bring over $4000 and even saw one sealed in a plastic bag that had never even been started sell for over $7000!!!! This 44 year old survivor was originally purchased in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It's had a few owners and manged to make its way through the perils of destructive teenagers and the ever present risk of garage mishaps. I've had my fun and its time to move it on to someone who REALLY needs it. I know from experience that this time capsule will scratch that itch.
