1969 Chevy Nova SS, frame off performed less than 2 years ago. It is set up for pro-touring - the best of both worlds. Classic muscle car appearance with modern suspension, handling, and brakes. Handles like a late model sports car. All new Ridetech suspension front and rear. Brakes are Wilwood 13 inch front and 12 inch rear rotors with 6 and 4 piston calipers. Ridetech's Tru Turn system allows for up to a 10 inch wide wheel up front and the Detroit Speed mini tubs allow for up to a 12 inch wheel out back. The wide wheels make for excellent handling, high speed stability, and grip in turns. This Nova looks as good underneath as it does up top, as the front and rear subframes are all powder coated. The exterior paint is PPG Silver and it is a 9 out of 10. Shows great....even up close. Engine is 350/300-325hp with mild cam. The 350 is backed by a newly rebuilt Muncie M22 4 speed. Putting the power to the ground is a GM 12 Bolt Positraction rear end with 3.42:1 gears for highway cruising and better fuel economy. An aluminum radiator with a 14 inch electric fan keeps temps low. Interior is classic black with bucket seats. This car gets more attention than you may want. I can't go to the gas station without questions or thumbs up or people with a story of owning a Nova.
