Nice VW Thing just in time for summer fun.I bought this last year on a whim and have had a great time resurrecting her as she had been off the road for 10 years. 50+ pictures can be found at http://s1343.photobucket.com/user/jroe67/slideshow/The Good - Rebuilt Carburator - Replaced pedal assembly - Replaced all brake hoses - New Muffler - New Tires - New ignition switch - New shift coupler - Fixed all the electrical demons - Fixed wiper motor to pass inspection (NOTE: Wiper not working again so it's a bit flaky) - Runs good - Includes VW Manual (generic not Thing specific), tow bar, hubcaps, and side curtains - Overall solid car with only minor rust - Good title - Current Inspection & registration - Spedometer and Fuel gauge work The Bad - Seats need re-upholstery - Winshield is cracked - Could use a paint job. - Few dents here and there - Does not have a top nor convertible bows - Few rust bubbles in paint - Couldn't get wipers to turn on the other day without blowing a fuse. I have not investigated further to see what is shorting it out. - Odometer not working.
