CAR THAT COST $450.00 TO BE MADE IN TEANECK, NJ SHOWN IN BOSTON IN OCT.OF 1914 AT THE CYCLE CAR ASSOCIATION'S DEALER AND MANUFACTURES SHOW. VERY FEW WERE ACTUALLY PRODUCED. BY 1915 TIMES SQUARE DROPPED THE CYCLE CAR IDEA AND CONTRACTED WITH THE PRINCESS MOTOR CAR COMPANY OF DETROIT TO BUILD THE MECCA. THIS WAS ESSENTIALLY THE PRINCESS MOTOR MODEL 30, 4 CYL. WITH MECCA TRIM AND NAMEPLATES. INTRODUCED IN MID-1915 AS A 1916 MODEL. MOTOR AGE PUBLICATION REFERENCES MECCA IN JAN.4TH 1917 EDITION, INDICATING THAT MECCA PRODUCTION HAS STOPPED BY THE END OF 1916. MECCA OFFERED A 5P TOURING CAR, AS THIS IS THAT MODEL, ALONG WITH A 2P ROADSTER & 2P RUNABOUT. ALL WERE 4 CYL. WITH 23H.P. WITH 104'' WHEELBASE. COST WAS $695.00 NEW.
