1969 Datsun 2000 Matching numbers original factory u20, 2000 cc Roadster. Mechanically excellent, Low mileage Mechanically freshened. Engine rebuilt with new Pistons .040 over, bearings, radiator. Transmission shifts tight and smoothe, no issues. Car has Koni's on the rear corners, and stock up front, front Koni's will come with the car as well. All rebuild recents will come with the car, most parts are sourced from Datsunparts.com, so all the right stuff. Ive put 2,500 parts in the freshening effort. This car has been my some what daily driver and is great fun to drive, with serious power and great handling. Since the rebuild I've put 5,000 miles on her. I would drive this car anywhere, no problem. Everything works in the car, even the clock and original radio. All trim since new is present, all lights work as well. The car will need a paint job, as there are dings and a couple of dents. but no rust issues, truly rust free pans, trunk, etc... the car is quite presentable cosmetically. The drivers seat will need a recover. To the best of my knowledge, I am the third owner, and the mileage of 111k, is original miles. This car can be driven every day, until a well deserved paint job is warranted. I hate to sell her but too many other projects, including a low serial number 240Z...
