1973 Porsche 911T - 3.2 Liter This classic Porsche is currently running well and registered in New Mexico with a clean title. To my knowledge, the car was originally sold in Southern California, then moved to my Father in law in Palm Springs, CA, in the early 1980's, then to us here in New Mexico in the Summer of 2007. I believe we are the 4th owners. It has the original Fuchs wheels and runs great. Since I bought it in 2007, I have put over $17,000.00 into the car and have just about all of the receipts. The engine runs solid, has great oil pressure with no major leaks or issues. Newer 3.2 liter motor from a 1980's 911, rebuilt transmission, shifter bushing, tires, fuel lines, ignition switch, brake lines, starter, newer seats, stereo system, door panels, external oil cooler... The car also comes with the original Porsche service manuals (worth about $1,000.00), an old "bra" from the '70's (worth $0 probably), a cheap but effective car cover. Professional engine upgrade from the stock 2.4 liter to the newer 3.2 liter done in 2007 by Series 9 Porsche (now relocated to Florida): 914rs.com. More recent work done by Premium Motor Car Investments: pmciinc.com As noted above, the paint is pretty shiny, but scratched and chipped in places. The interior could use some work as the vinyl is peeling a bit on the interior roof and the dash is cracked. The turn signal does not want to work sometimes and the wipers need some attention as well. The seat belts mechanism does not like to retract too quickly and I would recommend new belt mechanisms before racing... There is no significant rust on the car. I am not aware if it has been in an accident as there are no signs of such. The Targa top is in great condition. The horn does not work, the heater is not hooked up and the odometer reads 55,488 but has not worked since I have owned it. Actual mileage of the vehicle and engine are estimated, but unknown. It probably gets about 500 miles per year from us, and was sitting in a garage in Palm Springs since the early 80's until 2007.Buyer is responsible for pickup and any shipping charges as well as any necessary taxes from the purchase.
