This is a FIELD FIND 1973 AMC Javelin, it is a factory a/c car, 304 CID V8 with center console and automatic floor shifter. (SEE PHOTOS) it was originally purple but was painted silver many, many years ago.... acetone would probably bring back the original purple patina. Door jambs, hood, and deck lid all are purple, so back to the original color would be pretty easy. The factory white vinyl top has all but disintegrated and rubbing it with a towel made quick work of removing most of it. CLEAR CALIFORNIA TITLE IN MY NAME. It is registered NON-OP. This would make a great Father/Son summer build. The car has some great styling but I suggest you go through the car bumper to bumper cosmetically, mechanically, and electrically. I put two new radial tires on the front so I can roll it around. Engine will turn, but I did not start it because I don't want to put any unnecessary strain on the engine, from old gas, old oil, and old fluids. This car has been sitting for many years, but shouldn't take much to make it street worthy.This item is sold as-is with no warranties expressed or implied. The odometer reads 04, so I assume there's a "1" before that zero, but, I would have to say true mileage unknown. However, having said that, there are many receipts that would tend to support that this is a 100k plus mile car. If your ebay transaction number is less than 10, I suggest you pass.
