Vehicle Detail
1970 Chevelle SS 396! Frame-on restoration. Almost every nut and bolt on this car has been touched, and replaced with quality parts. I have kept a stock appearance with this car, with the exception of the headers and a few minor engine compartment items. The pictures show the attention to detail that was put into this car. Not numbers matching. The previous owner swapped out the floor automatic for a 4 speed. The car does have a 1970 Muncie M-21 in it today. The motor is a 454 block that I had built about 3 years ago. Currently less than 2500 miles on the rebuilt motor which has 474 RWHP (Mustang Dyno at 5200 Ft Elevation). Original A/C car, which was removed prior to my purchase of the car. I did put the A/C delete box on the firewall. I have never been able to get the blower motor to function. This could be a mis-wiring due to A/C versus non-A/C. Original Cortez Silver car with black bucket seats. All new wiring from the dash forward (Thanks to the hacks that cut the wiring apart over the years) Deluxe Seat Belts F41 Suspension Bucket seats 3:73 Gears with posi traction 12-bolt rear AM/FM radio Electric (remote) truck release Under dash courtesy lights New tires The car will be delivered with 2 dash pads, one that was replaced by the previous owner, and a reproduction pad. Neither are screwed to the dash at this time so that the new owner may decide. When looking at the images, be sure to take in the detail that went into this car. Such as the correct paint on the wheels. The images show that the front and rear of the wheels are painted with correct colors. Corners were not cut with the restoration. This car placed in the 1968 - 1972 Chevelle class at Super Chevy in 2013, first year entering the car. Car has won other awards at various local car shows. Clean title ready to be owned and appreciated! This is a very nice car!! Email me for additional information of photos. This car is also listed locally, I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.On May-18-14 at 10:17:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Note that the paint on the car is the same paint that has been on the car since I've owned it. I can supply closer photos of the paint if desired. The next owner may desire to have the car painted at some point. On May-20-14 at 16:22:14 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had a lot of great questions on the car thus far. Here are a few more notes for the masses. -Car was purchased via consignment ~10 yeas ago through an Oklahoma dealer. Car was residing in Dallas at the time. -NO RUST! I have seen no signs of rust, and no signs of any bondo on body panels (could crack after a few year...and CO is VERY dry). -Solid trunk pan -Solid floor pans -Full quarter panels (car has original panels to my knowledge) -Fully functioning and correct Cowl Induction Hood -Full gauge package in dash -Power steering and Power front brakes (disc in front)
