I've been after this truck for about 5 years, always wanted one with this package, 4x4 white extended cab short bed and factory Alcoa's, but the owner would not let it go. Last year his wife called me and said it was for sale because her husband had pass on. The couple bought the truck when they retired some years ago to pull a goose neck camper with. So it was always taken care of and adult driven. I work for the federal government and will be transferring from Redding, Ca. to Florida in 30 days and won't be able to take it with me, so I have to Sell. The truck turns heads everywhere I go, always have people give me the thumbs up when they see it, even when I was at the Ford dealer the other day a group of mechanics and parts guys were walking around it and told me what a bad ass truck it was. They said it was the best truck Ford ever built. Since purchasing the truck I installed a new battery, new set of Toyo A/T Open Country tires (less than 50 miles on them), new grill, bezels and headlights from LMC truck (old ones were faded a bit), new front shocks, the rear center hub caps were missing so I bought a new set from Ford. Last week I gave it a complete tune up cap, rotor, wires, plugs and air filter. Fresh oil change with Mobile 1. The truck runs like a top, better than my brand new F150. The truck is super clean, door hinges have no slop or sag, close like brand new, absolutely no rust, it looks brand new under the truck as well. Interior is in really good condition, no wear spots or holes in the seats. Head liner is not drooping and the visors are in new condition. The only wear spot is where you grab the steering wheel to climb in because they did not have grab bars to pull your self up into these trucks back then. All bushings, body mounts and ball joints are in new condition, truck drives straight and can be driven with one finger on the wheel anywhere. Has brand new water pump and heater core replaced by the previous owner less than 1000 miles ago. Ice cold AC!!!! It has two hitches, goose neck with quick release in the bed and the rear receiver hitch with lock and key (first receiver I've seen this way with no slide pin), drop in bed liner, 35% window tint on all windows. Truck has no back fee's for Ca. residents, current registration and smog is good for two more years.
