This car runs and drives very well and straight. I have driven it occasionally as a fun vehicle since I bought it in 2003 with intent to restore. The interior is decent. The lower sheet metal and floors need repair/replace- I have many patch panels that go with the car. The frame needs repair/replace- the Texas parts car has a nice clean rolling chassis ready to swap. The trunk floor on the '66 has been cut out for replacement and is still open with the original gas tank temporarily suspended to allow for driving- the parts car has a nice trunk to use for repair. I have driven this car quite a bit, but it is NOT represented for sale as a daily driver- repairs need to be made; the doors shut but are clunky. The top has been patched but keeps out water. Please note: This IS NOT a 'GS' car- the grill emblem you see in the picture was there for decoration only, and has been removed. Local buyers are welcome to stop by with an appointment. Note: As some may have noticed, this is the third time the car has been for sale. The first high bidder simply never paid; the second time around the high bidder was a kid who apparently did it as a prank. Maybe this time will be for real, eh?
