1959 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer. Very original car, one of the best I've ever had. 59 was the pinnacle year of the FIN !! Not only does this Dodge have some of the best it's got a tough looking front face too. Car has factory Air Conditioning. Not sure if they all has this but it has rear air too, with 2 vents coming from an A/C unit in the front of the trunk. System has been converted to R134 and blows cool but not ice cold. May just need a charge. BODY- Very nice solid car that really is a time capsule vehicle. Original paint worn thin in several places but car is straight, straight, straight! No rust in the body what so ever. Trunk floor needs some attention and patches are actually sold for this car here on eBay. All glass is perfect. Windows go up n down perfect. All trim is completely there and in very good shape. Few dings but nothing bad. Bumpers have a couple of dings but are not twisted, twerked or rusty. Really an amazingly nice body on this car. Orig hubcaps. Original gas tank is off the car, not rusty but needs trash cleaned out of it. Car runs off of a 10 gallon fuel cell just fine. Not great for long distance road trips but locally just fine. INTERIOR- Very nice condition. Dash is fantastic, all there and complete including the model specific cigarette lighter. AM Radio does not work but has an after market CD player underdash. Headliner is fantastic, Door panels are in very nice condition, not warped or cracked. Carpet is very nice. Front seat cover has been replaced at some point and is in good condition. Steering wheel is in great condition with one split in it. It's not all busted up as most of them are. DRIVETRAIN- Completely and totally original 361 V8. PS, PB, 4 bbl. Air cleaner on down is there. It's never been molested or detailed. Some elbow grease and this will be perfect. Push button trans shifts perfectly. Car is driven locally. Car is for sale locally. Contact me for more details. Only trade I'd consider would be a C-5 Corvette. This car may be a 4 door but is way cooler than most 2 doors. Sold with State of Georgia Bill of Sale. State of Georgia did not issue titles until 1962 on any car what so ever. Undercoat is peeling due to age in places but that's ok. On May-16-14 at 09:12:13 PDT, seller added the following information: Stock exhaust is almost new. Brakes work. Original gas tank comes with car. On May-20-14 at 16:58:53 PDT, seller added the following information: Oil pressure gauge works and it set right on the notch for what I think must be 60 lbs. Alt gauge also appears to work properly. Clock does not. Mileage show18,xxx. I think this vehicle has a very good chance of being just 118,xxx. Headliner is fantastic. Doors do not sag at all and shut tight as a drum. This car is not worn out.
