1968 f-250 Camper Special F-250 Ranger, Rebuilt 390, c-6 transmission with 9" rear end. This is a 125,000 mile truck that has a completely rebuilt 390 that $4,500 was spent oHn the engine alone. Truck was purchased in 1970 in Seattle. Has been in the same family since then in Texas. Paint is showing some age but the body is solid and the truck runs great. Has a slightly larger cam for power and a cool sound when it idles. Factory Disc brakes are a nice option when traffic is going 70-75mph. Transmission is a c-6 and the rear end is a 9" ford. Interior is still original. Has a rip on the drivers side. Body is straight but there is a little damage on the hood, in the center, and on the passengers rear where a tire blew. There was a small repair made on the top of the cab above the windshield. Other than that the body is solid. There is a small rust hole on the end of the passenger door near the bottom where some water must have gotten trapped. This is a truck that can be driven daily or fly in and drive home.. Truck always starts good. Has a special intake designed during the late 1979 fuel crisis that allows the truck to get around 13 to 15 mpg with a 4bl carb.
