We answered many questions concerning this car during last weeks prior listing and we know this is more than a fair price for this solid car. We will not adjust price any further, as we paid double for this car over 10 years ago and only put 100+ miles on it! We choose ebay for a easy platform to sell, since I just don't have time in my work schedule to have many appointments for show. Please respect our choice and bid accordingly! With all the offers and watchers we had this past week, we know this car will sell !! Thank you for looking!! We bought for my father in law and titled Aug 2002 with 70,992 miles and he played with and drove car 134 miles, till he passed away in June 2010. We know of no prior damage and were told, not known, that we purchased from original owner, a farmer on Maryland Eastern Shore. We trailered to present location with exact mileage. We believe engine is original and intake manifold #'s match factory 390 CU engine. Father in law has aftermarket air cleaner on engine, not sure if original was missing when we bought car or if he wanted more air to carburetor. Thunderbird stamped on valve covers and everything else looks in place and original. We just put new battery in car and started right up. Runs rough but does run and idle. Car has not been inspected since father in law got cancer in 2007, and wasn't driven since then. Car goes in all gears and is a automatic. ONLY 134 MILES PUT ON CAR IN OVER 10 YEARS OF OWNERSHIP!!! Needs tuned up and completely restored. Car is solid with no rot, minor surface rust but paint in good shape. Interior in good shape, sun damage but no major rips or tears. As picture shows, sun damage to pass seat color, looks worse than really is. Head liner intact and not ripped, just needs reattached to roof. Rug needs replaced from window and door seals leaking but floor board on both sides SOLID. Front driver side needs shocks or struts and most likely needs whole way around car. Father in law never replaced either, as far as we know. We have no knowledge of this car EVER being wrecked in any way shape or form. We also have no reason to think car was ever painted. We also would not know difference. We know of no major issue with this car. All superficial or minor mechanical issues, as car runs and car looks good. Just doesn't run well, from sitting or look great from age. Great restoration candidate, just needs time and investment. We are moving, downsizing and car needs to go. Starting at reasonable price with no reserve. THIS CAR WILL BE SOLD!!!! CAR IS AS IS ! We offer no warranty and guarantee nothing but that car is as looks and engine and car runs. Once again this car needs restored but ebay car ads say classic car prices are up 35% the past few years and I know this car is a heck a lot closer to $10,000 + range for a qualified restorers minimal investment!
