1984 CJ8 Scrambler 6 cylinder 4.2 liter L6 engine - 181,000 miles 5 Speed Manual Transmission Power Steering and Power Brakes Brand new Rough Country 4" Suspension Lift installed less than 3 months ago. 33" Tires Front Shackle Reversal Jeep does not have a radio. Lights, horns, and most gauges work..... the fuel gauge does not. 4x4 works great I have owned this Scrambler for about 1 and 1/2 years. It runs and drives great but as you can see from the pictures it is in obvious need of body work. My intentions when I bought the Jeep were to drive it and work on the body as time allowed. The only problem is the lack of time..... The Frame and Interior are solid and actually the entire Jeep is pretty solid but she is basically suffering from a subpar restoration from years back. The Frame has been repaired in a few places and looks great. You can see the corrosion issues w/ the body in the pics (the rocker panels are really bad) I've tried to include everything possible detail in the pictures so folks can see what they are up against. Or, someone may just want to drive it the way she is.... like I have been doing w/ no problem. It would just a shame not to make this one a $15K - 20K CJ8 because it has the potential.
