Up for sale is a pair of 1984 Honda V65 Sabre's. These are 1100cc V-4 bikes with the V65 engine. The Honda designation is VF1100S. Asking $11,750 for the pair. These bikes are in amazing mechanical condition. They have clear Arizona titles and all the details are in order as you would expect. They have original Honda keys, 2 for each bike and the lock-sets match for gas cap and helmet holder. Each bike has an owner's manual in the side cover where it belongs. Besides what you see, they start immediately, run super strong, shift smooth, and have amazing power. Throttle response is great. I believe that has a lot do with fact the valve seals are new and the carburetors are balanced perfectly. Everything works, no exceptions. All the lights, self-cancelling directional signals, clocks, displays, and instruments work as new. All the hardware is correct and these bikes are completely stock. I've have had them almost 4 years. I believe I am the 3rd owners of both bikes. Each bike has a different history. You can identify them by the slight difference in mileage and the fact one has the California emissions canister under the radiator up front. The pictures show the instrument clusters with the mileage so you can tell them apart. California bike - 9,868 miles Original condition - always stored inside and has never been apart. This bike has just had exceptional maintenance and care. The story I got when I bought it from the second owner is that it was owned by a Navy officer who rode it rarely while on leave. I don't know if that story is 100% true but the bike is the best original V65 Sabre I have seen. The handlebar controls, engine finish, and plastics are outstanding. Since I have owed it I have replaced the fork seals, cam cover gaskets, all hydraulic parts and fluid, had the carburetors cleaned and balanced, cooling system flushed, new brakes, and I guess just about every other wear item. I can't think of anything else it would need. Non-California bike - 10,932 miles Restored condition - this bike was restored by a friend of mine in Phoenix who is a V65 expert. It was a low mile Arizona bike that he had in storage for many years. He had a lot of parts and decided to rebuild the bike. It was stripped to the frame and every part restored. The frame, center stand, side stand, final drive, handlebars and some other parts were powder coated. It has a ton of new and NOS parts. I have a box with all the Honda parts packages used for the restore. The gas tank, side covers, and rear faring were NOS. There is a little over $2,000 in those body parts alone. It is like a new motorcycle. I've ridden it less than 1,000 miles since it was finished. Tires have less than a 1,000 miles on them Both bikes currently have Mobil-1 4T in the engines and Mobil-1 synthetic gear oil in the final drives. I will help you ship if needed.
