1959 MG-A convertible roadster. Candy-apple red with wire spoke wheels. Soft top in good condition, car starts right up. Leather interior in good condition. Has not been driven in two years due to owner illness. Garage kept, never flooded, only driven in good weather. Lovely little car. On May-07-14 at 11:15:14 PDT, seller added the following information: May 7, 2014 update- I added more photos as requested. I tried to get photos of the underside of the car but I don't have a lift so I got one good photon looking towards the passenger side front wheel. If more photos are needed please let' me know. Looks like the underside has been coated with a black possibly bitumastic paint to protect it. No obvious signs of rust in the underside or topside. There is a hose of some sort that crosses directly over the engine name plate. Honestly, I can't tell your if the numbers are matching or not. My dad's had the car since 1992 and in that time he didn't change the engine. What happened in the years prior, I can't tell you. As for maintenance records, it's been a low maintenance little car- it wasn't driven much; my dad is a car guy so he easily changed oil, etc as needed, himself.
