1972 HONDA XL 250 ORIGINAL AND UNRESTORED WITH ON 1060 MILES FROM NEW! SOLD NEW BY LARRY LILLEY MOTORCYCLES OF LANCASTER, CALIFORNIA SECOND OWNER-PURCHASED FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER OVER TEN YEARS AGO NEVER TRAIL RIDDEN , USED AS A PIT BIKE DURING MOTORSPORT EVENTS DISPLAYED IN MY OFFICE FOR THE LAST TEN YEARS The Honda XL 250 being offered for sale is possibly one of the finest originals of this type available. The entire bike looks as close to new as one could hope for with the exception of a paint blemish on the top of the front fender. Being a southern California bike since new and always being stored inside the paint and plating are in beautiful condition. The only items that have been replaced are the tires, which have been replaced by Metzlers, and the battery, which has been replaced numerous times. I have occassionally started the bike and ridden it for short distances to make sure it runs and operates properly.
