this is a true barn find., It did not run , so changed oil, gave it a tune up, new battery and.... IT RUNS, shifts smoothly... no transmission problems..~~~~ , new master cylinder and disk brake caliper .spring star wheels and tires....and of course lots of cool accessories ..it is ready to the next person to complete it by putting a complete top, it has a frame but it doesn't fit, and paint it or just drive it AS IS!! ...needs new floor pans, and a few rusty spots here and there....this is a 40 year old Florida car, so expect the usual rust and wear and tear for a VW its age...SOLD AS IS...THIS IS A FLORIDA VW...this is not a perfect car it is a RAT ROD..so please do not ask my if it has rust...yes it does..but is not falling apart...very solid...a cool... daily driver..florida title...On May-03-14 at 17:49:54 PDT, seller added the following information: this is a real convertible, look at frame and sides of metal that attaches to top. no rust..perfect..this car is solid...I just put two new wheels in the rear to match the front ones...
