2003 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Quad Cab SLT 5.9L Cummins High Output 6-Speed Manual Long Bed Description You are looking at a well cared for and strictly maintained 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Quad Cab SLT 5.9L Cummins H.O. 6-Speed Manual Long Bed. This has been the best truck I have ever owned. I had no plans of selling this truck but with my first home purchase and a wedding all happening this spring I must downsize and part with a few things this truck being one of them. This truck has been extremely reliable! Do not be deterred by the mileage, this truck is just getting started! Infact, the majority of the miles on this truck are ALL highway miles. With the NV5600 HD 6-Speed manual and a manually selectable transfer case all mated to the high output Cummins 5.9L this is a bulletproof powertrain! Also, being a 2003 this truck has none of the modern Diesel emissions equipment that has caused so much strife in the more recent Ram trucks. These model years (2003-2004.5) also have different injection programming which nets the best fuel economy of any of the more recent Ram trucks (up to 23mpg Highway!) I have taken excellent care of this truck the entire time I have owned it. I have been very good about performing thorough and detailed maintenance as well as only using OEM approved parts and fluids. The truck runs great, never misses a beat. The clutch is fine and shows no signs of slipping. The interior is in great condition and this truck has never been smoked in. The truck does have a restored salvage title due to the fact that I bought the truck with minor front end damage and had it professionally repaired by a licensed repair facility. It was fairly minor damage. The fenders, headlights, grill and front bumper were replaced, the hood, a/c condensor and intercooler were all unharmed. The only things I would like to mention in regards to condition is that the dash does have two cracks on the passenger side above the airbag from UV exposure over time and when down-shifting from 6th to 5th the syncro shows a little wear and require a slight rev-match for smooth engagement. All around this has been the best truck I have ever owned and I will be very sad to see it go. It is a true work horse, an iron monster that is massively bulletproof with a winning combination of the tried and true 24V 5.9L / NV5600 HD 6-Speed / Manual Transfer Case.
