Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on one 1974 Saab Sonett III. 49K miles. CLEAR TITLE. ALL ORIGINAL except for quality respray awhile back. Original color was bright orange. Runs great, but has rust. It is mostly all there, great running, great body parts car or restoration project if desired. Fiberglass is in great condition except for a crack in the hood. The car was owned by a local attorney for many years until a few years ago. He got tired of the maintenance required for an older car and simply just parked it. I am in touch with him. It would not take much to get this driving and put it back on the road if desired. VIDEO OF ENGINE RUNNING AND LINK TO PHOTOS AT BOTTOM OF LISTING. Click on the view all tab to be directed to bigger and better quality photos. I know that the clutch master cylinder will need to be replaced as it is stuck. Floors have rust and rear pan is gone. All glass is good. Interior is actually in pretty good shape, very nice seats and door panels are good. The driver door panel has a slight warp to it, not bad. I have the spare soccer ball rim as well. Passenger door will not open, I removed the door panel and actuator is working, not sure what the deal is, should not be difficult. I do not have keys for the car, the previous owner could not locate them. I removed the ignition switch so as to unlock the steering wheel. The carburetor throttle is bound up, so it only idles (a little high) at the moment. I started the car off of an auxiliary fuel tank/fuel pump and remote starter setup. These items are NOT included in the auction, nor is a battery. The car rolls just fine and brakes do pump up a little. Using a hot wire from a battery, I tried to connect it to the wires to the ignition switch. I got the fasten seat belts light to come on and the buzzer works too. I could not get the other things to turn on. The switch has 7 connections on the back, too much too try and understand. I am sure most everything should work, as it was running when parked. Here are all the things I have to state because of the idiots of the world: IF YOU HAVE ZERO OR NEGATIVE FEEDBACK YOU MUST CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING, IF NOT, YOUR BID WILL BE CANCELED, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!! VEHICLE MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 14 DAYS OF AUCTION END. A STORAGE FEE OF $25.00/DAY WILL BE APPLIED THEREAFTER. PAYMENT IS DUE 7 DAYS FROM AUCTION END.
