Up for auction is a 1977 XR-CR 100. This bike was custom built for the 100 vintage class. This project started with a 1977 XR 75 frame, a XR 100 swing arm and a XR 100 engine. The swing arm was gusseted an fabbed for a longer chain guide. The cradle was built for the engine and connecting the lower frame. 1974 Elsinore 125 forks and triple clamps were machined and shortened for the front end. Fox shocks were used on the rear. A 1980 Elsinore 80 gas tank was fabbed for the frame. XR 100 hubs were used with heavy stainless spokes. The engine was built with a new crank and bearings, BBR 120 kit with cam and the head was flowed with new valves. It has been ridden just enough to break it in and it runs an works as good as it looks. It has no title.
