Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a newly assembled 1934 Chevrolet 3 window coupe reproduction. Body Outlaw Performance manufactured the body, fenders, running boards, and grille shell with insert. It is still in its original gel coat which has minor scratches. Also included but not installed, a one piece steel Rootlieb hood, Rootlieb hood sides without vents, and a Carolina Custom hinge kit. Chassis The chassis was also built by Outlaw Performance with a mustang II front suspension with coil springs and a triangulated 4 link rear suspension with Aldan coil-over shocks. Engine The engine is a GM crate 350 ci small block with 260 hp. It has polished aluminum valve covers and air cleaner, an Edelbrock EnduraShine Performer EPS intake manifold, a bright zinc Holley 600 cfm carburetor with electric choke, ceramic coated block hugger headers, Pertronix distributor, and Taylor spark plug wires. The cooling is through an aluminum water pump with a Walker radiator that has the A/C condenser included. Transmission and Drivetrain The transmission is a T5 5 speed from a 1988 v8 Chevrolet Camaro with new hydraulic slave cylinder, clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel. A new driveshaft from Southwest Speed is linked to a 9 inch ford rear end with a 3.89 ratio in a Currie Enterprises housing with 28 spline axles. It has disc brakes in the front that has large GM metric calipers and disc brakes in the rear with emergency brake from Right Stuff. Wheels and Tires It has polished aluminum 5 window slots with 15x4.5 in the front and 15x7 in the rear. The tires are by Multi Mile with 165/80R/15 in the front and 215/75R/15 in the rear. Interior It has a chrome Flaming River column with tilt. The steering wheel is a Con2R. The dash has Omega gauges. The seats are Scat Pro-90 Lowback buckets. The flooring is Dyna Deck which has insulation with a nice finish. It has a Vintage Air A/C-Heat unit. Electrical It has an American Autowire kit, 1 wire alternator, and Optima battery. It has power windows and trunk lift. The headlights are 1934 Ford Commercial. It has Mercury style LED tail lights. I purchased everything new except the third member, transmission, bellhousing, and clutch fork. Issues I have installed weather stripping on the driver's door but I am not pleased with the fit. I installed a different style of weather stripping on the passenger door and it was worse so it was removed but left glue residue. You would need to experiment with the myriad of sizes available. The rear end is a little noisy but it is tolerable and fine for cruising around. There is a slight crack in the windshield on the driver's side about 2 inches long starting from the edge in the middle. The crack bothers me but isn't very noticeable. This car drives and functions well. It can be driven and shown as is or finished to the buyer's preferences. The starting price is discounted thousands below my cost. It is being sold as is where is. I will be glad to help coordinate pick up with the buyer or their transport company but all shipping costs will be the buyer's responsibility. Thanks for your interest.
