Vehicle Detail
For sale is a late model 89 Chevrolet G20 Conversion van. The van has only 123,000 on it and it is all highway miles. This van hardly left the safety of the garage unless it was traveling on vacation to the deep-south. Even though I am the second owner, I have known this van since the day it was brought home new and have close to every receipt for every part or service that was done to it over the course of its life. It has seldom seen salt, and was kept in the garage as much as possible; and it shows with the condition of the undercarriage, and the body. This van has been re-painted within the last six months to renew its appearance, and has taken on a few modern upgrades along the way. It currently has a back-up camera, a satellite radio hook-up, a new Sony cd radio, DVD player, and new wheels. Also with the paint job came new light lenses, white-temp headlights, headlight buckets, and grill. So, it looks new all the way around the vehicle. Even the tire cover was replaced. The tires are heavy side-wall Copper Discoverer tires to keep the sway down but still give a nice ride. There is approximately 60-70% of tread left. The Wheels are brand new and all four wheels and tires were road-forced balanced. All of the fluids are up and everything works. It does not use oil, smoke, or lack in power. With the transmission recently serviced, and the strong 350 motor, it will last another 100,000 miles without much trouble. The water-pump, alternator, idler pulley, and ac compressor are new. Brakes are new, all questionable steering parts have been replaced and a 4-wheel alignment was done. A new ac evaporator was also installed less than a year ago along with a new battery less than 2 months ago. The van does have cruise control, tilt-steering, power windows and locks. The interior is spotless with new carpet, and cloth seats that have no rips or tears. I simply could not stand looking at something ugly for fourteen hours at a time, so I replaced the front seatbelts with new. It also has custom made cushions to match the interior in the back so you can lay down the couch and have a queen sized bed. This is a nice van with a great deal of detail given to its appearance and reliability. It will certainly give the new owner years of trouble free service. You can probably find a van of lesser years for the same money, but you will be hard pressed to find a van with all of the reliability that this one has and new paint. The cost of the paint job alone will run $3500.00 by its self. The only thing this van needs is a windshield due to a small stone chip in the right-hand corner of the glass. However, I would not be afraid at all to get in this vehicle and drive it on a trip across the United States right now. The only reason I am selling this van is because I have too many vehicles and no longer drive it. My hope is that someone else can enjoy it. Please call me if you have any questions. Thank you.
