I am selling my 1980 Trans Am Indianapolis 500 pace car, just in time for summer. Enjoy driving this rare car around with the t-tops off! It has the 301 turbo engine and an automatic transmission. This is your opportunity to buy a complete running, driving pace car of which only 5000 were made. It is 34 years old and is showing signs of use. This is a 15 footer, but the perfect daily driver. The hard to find space saver spare tire and inflator are still in the trunk. The space saver is near mint comdition, while the inflating canister shows some surface rust. The car drives down the road straight and has a great ride. The car has had a repaint and could probably use another. There are several small rust spots. One under the drivers side rocker and another hole the size of a quarter underneath the passenger floorboard. As shown in one of the pictures, the previous owner backed into another vehicle and cracked the paint on the drivers side rear wing. The interior is in fair condition but could use new carpet and a headliner. If you google Trans Am Pace car there is an official site that will list all of the options this car has. This is a great car that deserves to be put back into its original glory! Please keep in mind you are bidding on the car, not a chance to look at it and decide later. This car may be viewed at any time during the auction. I can help with shipping and would even be willing to deliver at the buyers expense. The car must be paid for before it leaves.
