We bought this Scion used because we needed a commuter car when we had a nanny living with us. The nanny has since moved out and the kids are both in school - so there is no need for a 3rd car. We didn't get around to selling it back in September, and now that spring is here, well - it's time for it go. The car is in good condition - not great, but good. For an 8 yr old car - it's what you'd expect. A few minor dings and scratches (a few extra on the hood), a few minor spots on the fabric seats and floor mats - but overall in good condition. Clean Carfax. Clear title. The car was serviced regularly - tunes up and oil changes. Brakes and rotors were just replaced and the radiator also flushed. The engine runs strong. The "check engine light" did just go on - but I'm not sure why. The e-brake also doesn't work but it's a manual car so leaving it in gear does the trick. The battery will also most likely need to be replaced fairly soon. The Kelly Blue Book Value on the car is between $7 and $8K. I'm willing to let it go for $5,900 - really no lower. That's pretty much a steal for a 2006 Scion with only 83K miles on it. We'd like to sell locally and will only accept cash or a certified check as payment. PayPal has too many fees.
