For sale today is a very desirable collectible car, a genuine 1958 Ford Skyliner Convertible Hardtop with retractable roof. Very few made with much fewer still in existence. THIS VEHICLE IS PRETTY MUCH 100% COMPLETE and even comes with extra parts. Car is equipped with power steering, power brakes, automatic transmission, power top, and its ORIGINAL MATCHING NUMBERS 352 Nascar factory engine with carter factory original carb and Fordomatic transmission in need of rebuild.(Ford only made about 500 or so for the '58 only). Will also come with a 2nd running engine. All of the glass is good. All the trim is there. There is a completely refurbished set of interior seats, (as well as the original seats). All of the motors, relays, switches, wiring, etc...are all with the car, and we (removed the cobwebs) tested the motor for the top and it does indeed work. we got the top to move on its own. The engine runs strong. No knocks, oil leaks. She runs nice rolls and steers fine . We just added a new master cylinder. We added new tires. Solid frame and trunk. Original body panels in decent shape. Hood is good. Floors have had some work done including rear pans. Some more isolated floor work is needed. Trunk is good but there is one area by one of the drivers side trunk hydraulic that needs welding before taking the top all the way to the trunk. Does have some isolated rust spots on the car.
