You are looking at a pristine 1988 Honda CR 250. I am the original owner, I bought the bike new in 88. It was my practice bike. Never raced. An injury forced me out of the sport in 1990. The bikes been in my garage ever since. Before I stored it I drained all the coolant and gasoline. In the past month I took it out of storage, cleaned the dust off of it, blew the jets out in the carburetor, put coolant in it and started it up. It started on the third kick. Since then I put a new air filter in it, and a couple of chain rollers. I also cleaned the power valve system. Also changed the oil. This bike maybe has 30 hours on it since new. All the plastic is original even the grips,seat cover and fork boots. It is on the second set of tires and they still have good knobs. The engine has never been apart, cylinder head has never been taken off. It is still quiet and very smooth. Power is really impressive, even by today's standards. As you can see from the pictures the bike is in really nice shape, it doesn't need anything. It is not repainted in any way. I do not have to sell this bike, in fact I will hate to see it go, but it's going to waste and I have no place to ride. I have a clear Maryland title from 1988. Good luck bidding!
