Vehicle Detail
We are a small Automotive shop and we might of gotten in a bit over our heads here. We bought this truck thinking that we could put a nice paint job on it and flip it for a few bucks, but after a recent test drive and a "I don't know what happened" from our "test-driver" we now have a super clean and super sharp 2003 F250 that dosnt run quite right. It does start and idle just fine, it also drives down the road, it just does not have the power it use to. I have done enough research on these 6.0L to know their history, and I know this one has had a reman engine in it already. I'm not sure if it is as critical as needing a new engine or just turbo, or what it is. I just know I'm not a diesel mechanic and we want to get rid of this truck. Our loss could be your gain. What I know about it is that its a 2003 F250 with a 6.0L engine, brand new exterior paint job with two tone sunburst orange trim (it was NOT wrecked, I have the carfax also, the paint was just faded really bad when we got it), Bushwacker flares, very very clean interior (it has the interior of a 100k mile truck, not 376k mile), new bed liner, painted bumpers grille and bug deflector. It will need new tires, the tires on it dont have much tread and they are too wide, they rub on sharp turns. I must STRESS this truck ran great when i got it a few months ago, I have put probably 400 miles on it personally, we had someone test drive it and now its just not right. It does start and idle good, and you can test drive it when you get here, it goes down the road, but something is wrong with the mechanics. It does not want to get over 50 mph.
