What I have here is a 1975 Honda cr250m elsinore. This bike appears to me to be mostly original. The bike set in a garage the past 12 years until I got it. It had low compression. I took the top end off and had the cylinder bored and installed a new weisco piston & rings and top end gaskets. New NOS honda points and condenser and cleaned the carburetor and she fired right up and run great! Lots of power! The clutch worked good and it shifted thru the gears good. Also installed a new aftermarket kill switch. I do have receipts of the work done for the top end. The brakes feel good and the chain & sprockets are great shape. Please keep in mind this is a 39 year old vintage motocross bike in unrestored condition so its not perfect. The tank has a few dents, the ride side number plate has a crack but is still solid. The back rim is missing one spoke. Please ask any questions you might have before bidding cause like I said the bike is not perfect but you don't find many of these anymore. It will need a new air cleaner. I only ran the bike about ten minutes so the new owner can break the new top end how they choose. I seen no leaks after running it. This would be a great bike for a person to do a restoration on or do what they want and vintage race it. If there is anything I missed please ask as it is hard to cover every detail on these vintage bikes. The honda is sold as is. I have no title for this bike but ebay required I put something in. Back in 1975 they did not issue titles for motocross bikes. On Apr-11-14 at 18:38:33 PDT, seller added the following information: I need to mention the reason the bike is setting on my bike lift is I have no kickstand for it. The mount is there for it and nothing wrong its just that the kickstand was taken off at sometime.
