You are viewing an 1982 Collector Edition Corvette by Chevrolet . Only 6759 were built 32 years ago by Chevrolet ! This is a unique C3 Corvette in that it's the only one of the C3s to have a rear glass which opens like a Hatchback ! This vehicle Runs and looks Great ! The paint is very good with some miniscule scratches on hood . The interior is doing very well with negligible cracking due to age . Upon purchasing this Collector Edition Corvette I had a Mechanic w/ 40 years experience w/ Corvettes go over it with a fine tooth comb ! He replaced the Fan & water pump ...... put new pull handle & chord for rear hatch .... new rear hatch pistons .....put ALL new rubber molding ..... fixed frnt. lights as one wasn't working/opening ....made cruise control operational ....Brand NEW leather steering wheel .... New radio & speakers & radio dash......New Valve cover gaskets .....4 New tires as of 116,241(odometer) .....New battery as of 4/10/2014.....Brand New windshield . I think I got most of it !! My mechanic said the V-8 350 Crossfire motor is ALL original and running GREAT ! A previous owner had New heads, valve guides & bushings installed at 67,800 miles . He had the Transmission replaced at 108,761 . So basically, this 82 Collector Edition CORVETTE has a 5.7L 350 cu.in. V8 Gas OHV with 53,000 miles on it and 12,000 miles on rebuilt transmission ! I have a detailed history of all previous maintenance, as the Original owner kept meticulous records of ALL maintenance done to this vehicle till he sold it in 5/2006 with 116,241 miles on the odometer ! I have original Booklet and Sticker showing original asking price of $24,500.00 . It comes with a vehicle cover .... Bag for T-tops .... Front dash cover .... Bra for front . As to the 5 owners ..... the first owner had vehicle till odometer was 116,241 and kept meticulous weekly record throughout of ALL maintenance which I will give to new owner . The last 4 owners(includes myself) put a total of around 4000 miles on odometer . I just wanted to address those issues as I feel this is as Sweet a Chevrolet Collector Edition Corvette Corvette as you'll find for what $$ I'm asking ! I have lowered my Reserve to what I believe is a fair number considering my investment ,but I'll have no trouble driving this American muscle/sports car this summer if the reserve isn't met.
